RMA SERVICE POLICY

  • It is necessary to have RMA numbers for any items returning to COMTRONIC. In  order to obtain a RMA number, please have the following information ready - company name, customer code, invoice number, date of purchase, our item code, serial number and fault symptom for each item. Please call COMTRONIC at (905)881-3606 during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, or email the RMA request form to service@comtronic.ca. You may be directed to the manufacturer for warranty service.

  • Each item returning for service must have an attached photocopy of the sales order and invoice with the serial numbers; in order to verify the date of purchase. There are to be no exception to this rule and this will be strictly enforced. If any item is sent back without the proper documentation, those items will be sent back to you collect and RMA will be voided.

  • If you cannot provide a copy of the invoice & sales order, you can request us to search for it. If we can locate the invoice & sales order, a $15 (+tax) charge will be implemented per sales order/invoice per item; otherwise, a $10 (+tax) will be charged.

  • It is required to have the RMA number to be written on each shipping box. Original manufacturer's boxes and packaging must be used. Returns must be shipped, freight prepaid and insured. Returns not meeting these conditions will be refused and returned.

  • All returns must be completed with accessories, cables, manuals, software and original packaging.

  • There is no service charge on fault COMTRONIC’s products which are under warranty. Any other services (include software and/or hardware configuration) will be subject to a charge at $30 per hour.

  • The warranty from COMTRONIC does not cover damage which occurs in transit, or results from alteration, accident, misuse or abuse.

  • All non-defective returns must be in resalable condition, which means that they must be clean, undamaged and intact, without store markings with original packaging. Products that are not in resalable condition will be returned to you and no credit will be granted.
